Chaos Asylum
Chapter 1: - the Rulescroll
In Chaos Asylum, we have a few rules that everyone has to follow. As Guild, we strife for a no-drama and lot-loot policy and we will do a lot to persue that ideal.
Rule 1): Assholes are not tolerated and will get an instant GKick if we see a reason to
Rule 2): Take what you need from the Guild Vault. But only what you need. The Vault has been open for everyone in 5.4, which comforted the Council that the Guildies are so reliable.
Footnote: swearing or cursing is no problem whatsoever. Cursing or insulting someone is a huge problem.
Chapter 2: - the Council
The Guildcouncil exists of the Guild Leader and Officers. They are as followed:
Saveiro and Beer Slaves: Guild- and RaidLeader. Reads up on class mechanics and stat priorities. If you could use a bit of help improving your skills, he will gladly help out.
BAMF: Officer, also in charge of making the rosters when entering Mythics. He will fill the roster depending on the situation. This will be explained later on.
Band Manager: Officers. Like the BAMF, invaluable in making decisions for the Guild. Wether it is loot or people, with these four people we will find a solution for every problem.
Chapter 3: - the Mythic Raids
In Warlords of Draenor, we expect our raiders to be online and ready at 19:50h. If you have any delay, tell us so; there won't be an issue then. This is to ensure we can start our raid at 20:00h at latest.
We are busy forming a 24-man roster when we hit Mythic, so we don't have to cancel a raid when someone suddenly bails. All of us will be included in a bench-rotation. Not taking exceptions into account, each of us'd have to sit out approx every 6th raid.
One of those exceptions could work with or against you: we will keep track of reliability and fill roster accordingly. If you sign accept, tentative or out, you'll help us out a lot and we'll know you're reliable. If you don't sign, you will by default not get in raid. If it was your turn to raid, but can't make it, just sign that you're out. We'll be prepared, and you'll be in the next possible raid.
Scenario: 19 people in raid, 2 other Guildies online. One tentative, one unsigned -> we pick the tentative one if we can make our roster work.
If you sign tentative, we'll assume you can't make it. If you get signed standby, you might be in. If standby'd, there might be a spot for you at 19:55h, so try to be online if at all possible.
If you sign accept, we assume a 100% chance you show up. Your status will change to confirmed or standby accordingly. If you are confirmed, be online at 19:50h. At 19:55h we will fill the raid and at 20:00h we will have started.
Now, we are well aware that accidents, emergencies and goofs happen. If you have facebook, please join facebook.com/groups/WoWChaos and add Saveiro#2733 on battletag. These rules are to make it easier for the Council and thus the Guild as a whole. If you're reliable, but not online at 19:50h, just tell us! You could even copy this sentence: "I can't be online ____day 19:55h. I can and will be online at 20:00h, so would it be possible to save a spot for me with this knowledge?"
This new form might sound drastic for the 5.4 Chaos Asylum-members, but we have relied on Openraid so far to not cancel a night. Since WoD Mythic doesn't allow cross-server, we have to have reserves ready. If someone doesn't take the effort to push 2 buttons or in-game mail an officer (or leave a message in the facebook group), we get demotivated to pick him/her in return.
In all seriousness though, we are fair and rational. We expect the same of everyone in this guild, since cancelling a whole raid because of one slacker should be something of the past now. When anything's up, just mention it! Be reliable, have fun and let's get going!
Chapter 4: - Voice Communication
At the moment we use Teamspeak 3 for our communication. You can use this channel at any time, although no more than 20 people can use it at the same time.
